Tasty Tuesday: Stuffed cheesy onion bread

12/31/13

If you keep up with Tasty Tuesday, you know that I’m no fan of onions. I’ll use onion powder, but I just can’t stand the onion texture. I had to share this stuffed cheesy onion bread recipe, though, because I’m sure many of you enjoy onions and holy cow, does it look good. Let me know if you try it and I will definitely make it sans onions.

Normally all of my pasta is one-pot; I just cook the noodles and dump in some herbs and plain tomato sauce! This one pot pasta from A Beautiful Mess, however, looks like it could be a whole meal. The creative folks over there also have a recipe for black eye pea hummus, which is just in time for New Year’s Day. Do you ever eat black eye peas for New Year’s, and if so, how do you prepare them?

If you’re looking for something more decadent (and not making any weight-related resolutions!), you might want to take a peek at The Messy Baker’s Cookies & Cream Fudge. Indy’s eyes got pretty wide when he saw this! It’s his favorite flavor. We will have to make this one for sure. And I am really, really craving her homemade version of Caramel Bailey’s right now! I’m enjoying some rum-infused pineapple chunks for my holiday tonight, but it’s been a long time since I’ve had some good Irish Cream. And I love that her philosophy is that there is no such thing as too cheesy, especially when it comes to loaded potato soup! Minus the onions and leeks and I will have to make this thing, too.
