The coolest makeup bag ever

March Ipsy review

My latest addiction is following subscription boxes. I would absolutely love to order many more boxes, but I just can’t justify spending that much money, no matter how much fun it is to get mail. Ipsy, however, is an affordable subscription that is worth the buy. Each month is only $10 and includes 4-5 makeup products (either deluxe samples or full-sized items) as well as a makeup bag. I also like it when they send us vegan items and makeup without harmful ingredients.

As you can see, this month’s makeup bag is very colorful and fun! The bag was made by a local San Franciscan artist and is inspired by the city itself. Wood Sprite was born in San Francisco and really wants the bag, so we are probably going to end up sharing it somehow.

This month’s bag included:

-A sample-sized Bare Minerals lipstick

-A full-sized Nix trio of eye shadow

-A full-sized Chella eyeliner

-A sample-sized Pixi primer

Altogether, the value of my bag was over $30 and well worth the price. I am using every item so far. I didn’t think I’d like the pink-ish lipstick, but I seem to be able to pull it off! The eyeliner is also blue, a color I normally would not choose, but it’s dark enough to work with my brown eyes and fair complexion. The eye shadow is a series of browns that I would’ve selected myself, but I didn’t think I’d like the primer, either, until I tried it. Now I like it because I can skip foundation, which I’ve never liked using.

Do you use Ipsy? If so, how did you like your bag this month?
