Zombies and Arrows at Indoor Extreme Sports

November's just getting started and quite a few of us are already starting to feel cooped up from avoiding the cold. Luckily, NYC is never in short supply of fun things to do indoors. If you're craving adventure this winter, grab some friends or a special someone and turn up the heat at Indoor Extreme Sports in Queens. With a variety of ongoing themed events to choose from, you're sure to find the perfect activity for both keeping warm and having a blast.

The Zombie Experience
Every Friday from 8pm to midnight, IES hosts an apocalyptic lasertag battle which is, according to the New York Times, “the perfect place to hunt the living dead.” Your objective? Fight your way through the Asylum, find the antidote and make it out alive. If you're throwing a party and have cash to spare, IES will even supply zombies for you.

Archery Tag
Rumor has it IES is the first to offer something like this in the world and my inner Hunger Games volunteer is forever in their debt. Using real bows and “safe” arrows, players can fight like their lives depend on it in 3000 square feet of pure, adrenaline-pumping fun.

In addition to zombies and arrows, IES also hosts paintball and Black Ops lasertag.
