What's Happening At Videology This Month
When it comes to fun for New York City's movie buffs, few places offer even half as much as Videology in Brooklyn. From themed game nights to local film showcases, they truly have something for everyone and they top it all off with affordable drinks in excellent company. If you're looking for the perfect first date destination or someplace to simply kick back with your movie-loving friends, check out one (if not all) of these forthcoming Videology events. The best part? Most of them are completely free.
Valentine's Day with Harold and Maude
Nothing spells romance quite like a psychotic - and occasionally suidical - love affair with an elderly woman. While this particular screening does require you buy tickets (2 for $40), the cost includes chocolate fondue, strawberries and two glasses of chilled Prosecco.
Freaks and Geeks Bingo
Of all the shows that were cancelled long before we were ready to say goodbye, Freaks and Geeks quite possibly hits fans the hardest. Now you can relive all the quirks and "freakishly" realistic high school drama with Freaks and Geeks Bingo on Wednesday, February 25th. Enjoy classic episodes, order a couple of beers, and be prepared to slam down a chip every time someone makes a reference to Star Wars.
Astronomy on Tap Presents Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey
Part "drunk astronomy" adventure, part educational soiree, the scientists from Astronomy on Tap team up with Videology to bring you Cosmos like you've never seen it before. On February 26th, you can watch the show, win prizes, and tell everyone you know that you went to a free party featuring a DJ named Carly Sagan.
