Wendy Davis: my new hero!

Last night, Senator Wendy Davis filibustered for thirteen hours in order to prevent a bill that would greatly restrict abortion rights in Texas. In order to defeat the bill, she had to speak for the full thirteen hours without eating, drinking, sitting down, or using the restroom. And she made it! (Although not after some timestamp hijinks by the Texas Senate - booooo!!!)

It's almost enough to make me wish I lived in Texas so that I could vote for Wendy. (Almost.)
