Twitch bans streaming of Adults Only-rated video games
The popular livestreaming gaming service Twitch has just announced that they will not allow their users to stream gameplay of Adults Only-rated video games. This announcement is unsurprising, given the upcoming release of a controversial game called Hatred which has been given the AO rating.
Hatred was designed by a right wing Neonazi development studio. In the game, you play a character whose job is to kill as many innocent bystanders as possible, in the name of committing genocide.
Twitch is clearly trying hard to clean up its service, between this and rules banning shirtless streamers. Will they be successful? Only time will tell!
