The X-Files is returning!

It's official: The X-Files will be returning with a limited television series. Gillian Anderson, David Duchovny, and the show's original creator Chris Carter will be back for a small, six-episode run. Production will begin this summer, although there is no word yet on when the show will air.

Also no word on when the show will be set. Will it be transported forward to our current time, some 20 years after the setting of the original series? Or will they try to pretend that no time has passed? It's crazy to think how long ago The X-Files was, but here we are.
