Other Dr. Who knitting

I recently discussed the topic of Dr. Who scarves, but there is a whole world of knitting and crocheting for Whovians. When you find a pattern that you like, act fast: The BBC is notorious for policing what it sees as its intellectual property. Ravelry users may remember the recent case of a free Ravelry pattern for the Adipose monsters, which the BBC successfully pressured Ravelry (and the pattern designer) into purging from the internet.

This leads to a lot of tap-dancing around certain phrases. If you are searching for a Dr. Who pattern, you will want to be sure to include non-trademarked phrases like "police call box" or "the doctor."

Bigger on the Inside, by Kate Atherly
This gorgeous royal blue shawl features a pattern of TARDISes along the middle. It's fantastic enough to entrance fans, while being subtle enough that you could wear it to the office without raising comment.

For Whovians with new babies, this pinafore-style baby dress is absolutely a riot. If you and your partner are both cosplay fans, you could do an awesome bit of family cosplay together with this pattern!
