Stock Up On Gifts At the Grand Central Holiday Fair
Getting an early start on holiday shopping can be a great way to have fun and reduce seasonal stress, but who wants to spend hours hopping from store to store in this weather? If the gift giving spirit is already burning a hole in your pocket, take advantage of New York's only indoor holiday market, the Grand Central Holiday Fair. Celebrating its 15th year this season, the market features over 70 vendors and a multitude of goodies for people of all ages.
Bath & body items, treats for pets, clothes, artwork, edible delights – the fair truly has something for everyone special in your life. Go alone or take some friends along and browse unique treasures like eco-friendly, homegrown hats from Swan&Stone Millinery, household gifts from Claudia Pearson, delicious Jacques Torres chocolates, designer toys from Toytoise and much, much more. The best part is that it isn't just a great way to check family names off your shopping list, it's also the perfect opportunity to support some really talented makers.
The fair starts at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 17th and runs daily for six weeks in Vanderbilt Hall. Click here for hours and a full list (with a color-coded map) of all participating artisans.
