Solitaire is back - but it's ad-sponsored

Solitaire has been built into every Windows version since the early days - right up until Windows 8, when it mysteriously vanished. After a huge outcry, Microsoft brought Solitaire back in Windows 8.1, having learned their lesson: don't try to separate Windows users from Solitaire!

For those who were worried about Windows 10, rest assured it includes Solitaire. However, the game comes with an unwanted surprise: the game includes full-screen, 30-second video ads which play at random during your game.

The new Solitaire also features new decks, new coins, a global leaderboard, and other features. And for ten bucks a year, you can subscribe to have the ads removed. (Ten bucks!)
