Making smart choices to spend less and save money.

Simple Saving focuses on practical ways to help people save money while spending less. Living a frugal lifestyle is an adventure, not a life of deprivation. It's all about living better, for less.

You'll find blog posts on a variety of frugal lifestyle topics, including saving, reducing waste and smartening up about money in general. Money is rarely the sole focus of being frugal, though.

The desire to simplify, slow down and spend more time with family and friends are the typical driving forces behind being frugal; these just necessitate spending less.

Frugal people are not (usually) cheapskates. Being frugal doesn't require you to give up all of your luxuries, but you will give up some.

It doesn't mean never indulging, but it does mean to be moderate in most things. It means prioritizing your life around what matters the most, and the things that matter most are very seldom material things.
