What’s Happening Wed: The kid who named Pluto
Read about some really cool child scientists, like the kid who named Pluto, at Geek Mom this week. These are some amazing stories and I’m sure your kids would love to learn about people their age who make a difference.

Yet another so-called expert is saying that we need to “shame” people into losing weight. This map shows how 10 major companies control most of the brands of what we buy. Remember, even when you buy non-name brand items, many of them are made by the same companies with cheaper materials (something that I did not realize until my husband worked in a grocery department and found out himself). It’s a pretty eye-opening graphic.
