Tasty Tuesday: Pumpkin pie in jars!
Doesn’t this recipe for pumpkin pie in jars look adorable? If it turns out as easy as it looks, I’m thinking I might make it for our 4H club next month. How fun would that be! Let’s face it: I’m a sucker for anything in a jar.
(Speaking of jars, we bought some baby food to have a teeny jar for our new homemade deodorant we’re making. Wish us luck and share your deo recipes below.)
And speaking of the flavor of the month, how about some pumpkin cookies? These cookies from The Sweet Adventures of Sugarbelle look pretty enough to be from a bakery, but they’re easy enough to make at home. Make some and share them with your co-op, neighbors or service group.
This recipe for lasagna-stuffed spaghetti squash looks like the perfect thing to end a crappy day with (or to cozy up with on a cold night). Then again, the last time I had lasagna my crown came out, so maybe it’s not a good idea… Forget that, lasagna is always a good idea!
Having company over for the holidays? This eggs and patatas bravas recipe from They Draw and Cook is just the thing for an easy brunch with your family. And if you don’t have company coming in, well, you can still make it for one or two!
Chef in Training has a post about some slow-cooker bacon-wrapped apple barbecue that you’ve got to see if you have big carnivores with big taste buds in your home (or if you’re one, yourself!).
