Tasty Tuesday: Homemade pretzels, orange peel uses and more
Check out these homemade pretzels and jalapeno cheese sauce… Holy cow. I usually get cheesy pretzels on my birthday, but that’s not until November. I may have to make these sooner—like today!
Create your own recipe book as a family. It doesn’t have to be special; ours is just a spiral notebook so far. Make up something new every week and add it to your book (if you like it!).
Here are some easy green smoothies you can make all in a single day (well, do the prep work anyway). Just freeze and blend when you want them! I may have shared this once already (I can’t remember!) but I think it’s such a great idea that it bears repeating.

Wood Sprite mixed cereal, chocolate chips, dried fruit, granola and I don’t even know what else for some trail mix to enter into the county fair for 4H (along with several other projects). Make your own trail mix this week for park days and experiment with different additions. Let each child mix a bag of favorites. These would be handy in long car trips, too.
