On Saturday, September 28, 2013 museums will be free for each individual ticket holder plus one guest as part of the Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day Live. Over 1400 museums are already signed on to participate. Get your tickets in advance, though, because you only get one per household. I signed up for one near us; see if there’s a participating museum near you!
