Saturday Steals & Deals: Free home remedies book
We are absolutely living in the easiest time to homeschool so far—at least, in terms of technology. There are SO many resources online today that you can learn anything from an instrument to martial arts to how to cook or treat a wound. I would take an in-person instructor any day over the computer, but in terms of accessibility and cost, you can’t ask for better! Here are some goodies and freebies that I hope help you out this week, as well as a few bargain shopping finds.
This free book about home remedies is free with an Amazon Prime membership.
Here are 300 free college courses you can take at home, but I know there are actually hundreds more online, too! I really think the “free college degree” is going to happen in our lifetimes, and perhaps very soon.
A free printable pack of insect activities is available at the website Gift of Curiosity.
Head on over to Educents.com to get some great deals this week, including 40 percent off the game Always Icecream & Clever Dragons (I have never played either game and neither has Wood Sprite, so I’m not sure if they’re any good—I know there is a free trial at both websites; but I also know that she prefers dragons, which is a “boy’s site”L ), a $40 gift card to Twin Sisters, 30 percent off Math Mammoth packages and more.
Get shakes for half-price at Sonic after 8 p.m. for the rest of the summer!
Try a free flavored waffle from Waffle House with this coupon.
The Subway $5 footlong for May is the meatball marinara—and you can also get a Smokehouse BBQ chicken sub for $6 this month.
