The Royal Australiasian College of Physicians is trying to get “smacking of children” outlawed. Way to go, doctors! I wish the U.S. would get on board to stop child abuse too. Make no mistake: humans are not for hitting (abusing) and children are humans, too. As much as I try to respect every parent’s decision on how to raise their kids, this is one area where I will not ever budge.

Did you hear about Dannon using insect color additives in their yogurt? Bummer. Honestly I don’t like flavored yogurt anymore—all I taste are artificial sweeteners.
So Alabama is using race as a new standard for education. Kids will be separated into subgroups… Is this really new, or is it just repeating what our country did during segregation? I do not like where this is going.
This post at Gawker claims that it costs $600 to attend public school, but I’d argue that it costs much more when you factor in supplies, taxes, field trips, graduation expenses, and many other fees in addition to those included here.
