Happy Valentine’s Day!

After nearly a week of illness, I am so not up for any candy this Valentine’s Day. In fact, we aren’t attending the Valentine’s dance we had planned on attending, either; not just because we haven’t been feeling great, but also because Indy has to work. That’s okay, though. Wood Sprite and I are staying in and staying warm as it snows. In lieu of candy, Indy bought me an adorable Sally Funko Pop figure for Valentine’s Day. He has something else to give me later today. For his gift, I bought a couple of used Xbox games and some flavored hot sauces.

Indy bought her a fun disco ball strobe light for Valentine’s Day. I didn’t even know he ordered it! She tried it out last night and got a kick out of it, but then her tummy started to hurt again and we rested together for a little while. I really hope she feels great when she wakes up today, because she wants to sing karaoke while her disco ball lights up the room for Valentine’s Day. She also wants to eat dinner by candlelight, which we’ll definitely do. I’m also looking forward to giving her the present I ordered for her, which is a plush Jack from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. That pretty much sums up our plans for the big day.

Speaking of Burton, we have a Tim Burton themed play date coming up with our co-op. Indy saw it in my planner and said, “You’re having a play date with Tim Burton?”
