Friday Medley: Grimm is tonight!
Grimm returns tonight! Although many people wrote Grimm off in the first season—I hated the first few messy episodes, too—it quickly became my favorite television show during the second half of that same season. Nick, Hank and Munroe are absolutely awesome—but it’s Juliet and Rosalie whom I just adore. (Okay, I also have a big crush on Munroe.) These are some pretty BAMF women and I would love to see Juliet become one of Nick’s team in the whole vessen management thing. She already took on a troll, which was amazing. Anyway, there’s a free Grimm book you can download on iTunes today, too, if you have an iPad—which I don’t. But they’re supposed to have Kindle and other versions soon, too.
I’ve never seen Doc McStuffins, but I hear really good things about the show and that it features strong female characters. You can find some Doc McStuffins activities to do with your child at the Activity Mom website.
Having Fun at Home has a cool medieval stained glass project to do.
Do you suffer from obesity—or are you suffering because you are obese and people treat you like crap? Regan Chastain has a wonderful post about body policing, judgment, doctor prejudice and much more.
Hosting a spooky party, a haunted house or just decorating for Halloween this weekend? Check out these cool tutorials to make some spooky signs from Art Projects for Kids.
There’s a new fantasy TV-movie out tonight called The Hunters that you might be interested in on the Hallmark Channel. I’d love to see it but Uverse won’t air that channel, which is stupid, so let me know how it is.
