Plus DIY infinity necklace, rainbow projects galore & more

Friday Fun: Crepe paper projects

Well friends, what are you doing this weekend? I actually got sick on the way to art club yesterday (my first time ever having to pull over for illness), but I’m feeling better this morning, so fingers crossed that all goes well. My family will be selling Girl Scout cookies again (it’s the last weekend to buy!) as well as heading to a girl’s basketball team game (Wood Sprite will get to play with the team after the game!), World Eagle Day at the World Bird Sanctuary with some friends, and cutting down some brush for our city’s brush pick-up. Whew!

Need some ideas for weekend fun? Here are my top picks!

Visit the LEGOgrapher and see what he’s up to!

Make your own infinity necklace with just a few dollars.

Got crepe paper on hand? Try one of these 20 different projects. They are so colorful and fun! I love the candy cake toppers and rose bundles. U Create also has this awesome “Rainbows to Go” project you can do.

Try a new strategy for storing your stuff.

Speaking of rainbows, Twig and Toadstool, another one of my favorite websites, has a gorgeous rainbow suncatcher tutorial. I just love the monochromatic themes in each of these. If you are really into rainbows, you might also want to check out their rainbow wreath and flowers and rainbow sunbursts (which are so cool and inventive!).

Try making some lovely violet lip balm for spring.

Miss out on Dr. Seuss’s birthday party? Scrumdily-Do has a bunch of great ideas for celebrating.

Reading Confetti has a bunch of fun shamrock crafts and projects to do. I just love the sponge shamrock-shaped garden! The little shamrock rolls look quite tasty, too.
