Plus juice box monsters, pasta skeletons and much more

Fall Fun: Color eruption jars

10/12/13

No, I’m not in the Halloween spirit—can you tell? Not all of these projects are Halloween-ish but most are. Wood Sprite and I have made the skeletons and monsters; I’ve been saving juice boxes from our archery meetings and will be using them in another class, too.

Make these fun color eruption jars from All Free Kids Crafts.

Make a fancy jeweled pumpkin for just $2 from Dollar Store Crafts. I am really loving this blog, and I love this craft; my youngest sister is a Cinderella fan and I’m thinking of making this for her.

Got foam pumpkins? Here are 25 ways to transform them, courtesy of (you guessed it) Dollar Store Crafts. I love the safety pin pumpkin—it reminds me of a Goonies pillow I made for my car as a teenager…

Try making these colorful juice box monsters. If you don’t have felt, you can always use whatever scrap materials or construction paper that you have on hand.

Adorable pasta skeletons from Art Projects for Kids! When Sprite and I made ours we didn’t have many types of noodles so we improvised by breaking some in half, but these are really cute.

Meet the Dubiens have a wonderful gratitude tree. Wood Sprite, Indy and I always make a paper version but maybe we’ll use this idea this year instead.

Make some antique glazed pumpkins from Dollar Store Crafts. These make great decorations you can use year after year.

Make this fun Kandinsky fall tree from Art Projects for Kids. I might have to use this in one of our art club activities!
