Professional Call of Duty player planning to retire
In the world of professional video games, Call of Duty player NaDeSHoT (real name Matthew Haag) is one of the most prominent players. The captain of OpTic Gaming, with a YouTube channel that boasts 1.7 million subscribers, and once feature in a New York Times article, NaDeSHoT has been a professional gamer since he was 13. But it seems that he has finally had enough, as this week he announced his impending retirement.
OpTic Gaming had a poor showing in the most recent round of competition, and NaDeSHoT evidently grew tired of feeling like the scapegoat. Although he plans to return to competitive Call of Duty playing, he is stepping down as team leader, and looks forward to his life as a civilian for a little while.
