Player pulls $14,900 Magic: The Gathering card at tournament

When professional Magic: The Gathering player Pascal Maynard pulled cards at a recent Magic tournament, he found himself with an incredibly lucky find: The Tarmogoyf, a 2007 card which is normally worth either $175 (for the standard version) or $400 (for the foil version).

However, since the card was a stamped tournament version which certifies it as being from the Top-8 draft of the biggest tournament of the year, Maynard was able to sell it for a lot more on eBay. $14,900 to be precise – so much money that Maynard opted to donate half of it to charity.
