New Oculus Rift controller revealed

This week, the consumer version of the Oculus Rift controller was revealed, with a dramatic flourish at E3. It will come with an Xbox One controller, a built-in headset, and a motion controller called the Oculus Touch.

They also announced which games will ship with the Oculus Rift virtual reality system: Edge of Nowhere (a brand new, VR-specific game), EVE Valkyrie, and a platform for distributing games.

Frankly, I love the idea of the Oculus Rift, but I still feel like VR games are a gimmick, like 3D movies. Will its time come and go, or is VR here to stay?
