Mortal Kombat X will punish players who rage quit

"Rage-quitting" is a big problem in online gaming. Someone is losing badly, and they can't deal with it, so they simply quit the game. Depending on the game, both players might lose, or the other player might only win by default, or the game may simply reset. In any case, it's a stupid and annoying move.

Mortal Kombat X (which will be available on consoles on April 14) has come up with a clever way to punish rage quitters and delight their victims: players who quit in the middle of the match will have their head explode. It is a new finishing move called the "Quitality," and it grants the other player an instant win.
