Mortal Kombat X patch rolls out

Mortal Kombat X is a heck of a lot of fun, but it also has a lot of problems, particularly on the PC. The latest patch was enormous (approximately 15 GB) and intended to fix those problems. And it did, for the most part - but as is often the way, it also created more.

Many players who downloaded and installed the patch discovered that it had deleted their save files, which had the added effect of re-locking all the characters and dungeons that they had unlocked. The problem was so bad that the game's publisher has pulled the patch from Steam until they can determine what went wrong.
