They just won't let it go

Major YouTuber will stop covering Nintendo products

When Nintendo recently announced its plans to require YouTubers to share ad revenue on Let's Play and review videos of Nintendo games, I think a lot of people assumed they wouldn't really enforce this plan. After all, it seems counter-productive to punish the people who are promoting and advertising your game to millions of subscribers.

However, last week they did the unthinkable: they flagged a video for Mario Party 10 by Angry Joe, one of the biggest names in the business. Although Angry Joe could have continued to host the video, he would have been required to fork over his ad revenue.

In response, Angry Joe has announced that he will no longer cover Nintendo games. Good luck with that, Nintendo!
