Guess what? It's going to be even harder.

Lucky players got a hands-on preview of Dark Souls 3

Several journalists had the chance to get a hands-on preview of Dark Souls 3, sequel to the massively popular (and notoriously difficult) Dark Souls 2, as part of the E3 electronics convention.

To no one's surprise, Dark Souls 3 is going to be even more difficult. In Dark Souls 2, there are a few notorious bosses whose attacks change based on where their health is at. But in Dark Souls 3, many more - maybe most - bosses will have this phase change behavior. Get ready for pain!

Battle Arts will be even more complex, and even more powerful. So much so that From Software has had to reassure players proactively that they won't let the Battle Arts attacks get too overpowered.

And best of all (to many players' minds), there will be even more lore. The Dark Souls games are famous for being rich in lore and stories, and Dark Souls 3 will bring even more history and fable to the table. I can't wait to check it out!
