Walking into El Bosc de les Fades is like entering a fairy wonderland. The entire place is decorated to look like an enchanted forest, complete with crazy looking trees that stare back at you and miniature waterfalls. Woodland fairy creatures abound, from will-o-the-wisps to strange demons to the titular fairies. There is even background noise to accompany your drinking experience, such as animals and insects and the sounds of a distant storm.
To add to the atmosphere, the furniture is both natural and fantastical in its appearance, ranging from toadstool seats to organic wood tables. For those that enjoy an even more immersive experience, there’s a private grotto and for those that like a little more fright in their fairy-inhabited forest-bar experience, there’s the haunted house room, complete with ghostly demons staring out of mirrors.
El Bosc de les Fades is very popular with both locals and tourists alike, so it’s likely it will be crowded when you go. On the other hand, it is, if reviews are to be believed, a popular place for single ladies to hang out, a bonus for the lone male traveler.
