That's easy: 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire'

What's the hottest movie trailer of the week?

In recent weeks, the focus on current blockbusters has overshadowed any talk of future films. Not anymore. At Comic-Con over the weekend, it was Hunger Games madness, with several notable cast members showing up and a brand new trailer for Catching Fire making its debut. For fans, it was a bonanza.

I am a huge fan of The Hunger Games series and the first film. I was so thrilled that for once, the movie adaptation of such a great novel was right on target. That hardly ever happens, as most of you know all too well. My expectations for second film in the trilogy, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, are probably unreasonably high, but that's just what happens when I love the first film so much. Having just seen the new trailer, I don't think I'll be disappointed at all.

The new Hunger Games: Catching Fire trailer gives us just a glimpse of the 75th Hunger Games (aka the Quarter Quell) arena: a huge jungle with a massive saltwater lake. This new trailer shows us a bit more of Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta's (Josh Hutcherson) Victory Tour, along with several new shots of the pair as they take part in all of the Capitol's pomp and circumstance lead up to the Games. We are again shown teases of the growing rebellion that's happening in all of the districts (and Gale's growing role in being a leader in the movement).

Okay enough yapping from me. Here's the newest official trailer for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire:

And yes indeed, we finally get our look at some of the other major players in Catching Fire, including Johanna Mason (Jena Malone) and Finnick Odair (Sam Claflin), though we only got a flash of Finnick's smile. If you're craving a bit more, here's a new still photo of the shirtless District 4 hottie offering Katniss a sugar cube. You're welcome.

I don't know about you guys, but after seeing this particular trailer, I'm even more excited about this movie. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, directed by Francis Lawrence, hits U.S. theaters on November 22, 2013 (i.e. not soon enough).
