Leo breakdances his way to an Oscar nomination?

Favorite new trailer: 'The Wolf of Wall Street'

Once again, Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese are teaming up for a huge movie and once again, the Oscar buzz is starting long before said movie ever hits the theaters. I'm talking about the upcoming drama The Wolf of Wall Street, an adaptation of the memoir of questionable banker Jordan Belfort. His story is quite remarkable, and certainly criminal - but never dull.

The dream team of DiCaprio and Scorsese thrills me, of course, but the subject matter? Even more so. Just last week, the first trailer for The Wolf of Wall Street dropped, and so far? I think it's the best movie trailer of the year. First, we had Leo living a life of excess in The Great Gatsby, and now here he is again, living the dream. Kind of bookends nicely with the Gatsby movie in my mind.

I can't wait until The Wolf of Wall Street opens in November, and I will state right here and right now that I believe many, many Academy Awards nominations are coming. That's not a stretch, considering the all of the Scorsese/DiCaprio teamings have resulted in brilliant films: Shutter Island (2010), The Departed (2006), The Aviator (2004) and Gangs of New York (2002). That's one impressive track record, don't you think?

Anyway, sorry I'm blathering on (I do that when I'm really excited about a movie). Here is the first look we have at The Wolf of Wall Street, via a trailer that features Leo DiCaprio and his co-stars, Matthew McConaughey, Jonah Hill and more. And yes! Kyle Chandler is in this! All hail Coach Eric Taylor (sorry, I am still in the throes of total and complete Friday Night Lights love these days).

Check out Leo's moves! That aside, McConaughey looks fantastic in this one too. I realize we're still in the thick of our summer blockbusters season, but wow, this really gives me something to get excited about for later this year. And again, given the track record of every single Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese project, I am almost 100 percent confident this one's going to be competing for a Best Picture award at next year's Oscars.

Anyone else losing their mind with joy after seeing this trailer? If so, mark your calendars: The Wolf of Wall Street opens on November 15, 2013. Tick tock!
