This intriguing article explores the question of internet linguistics, from weird constructs like “I can’t even” to “right in the feels,” and a plethora of other Tumblr-isms. I know that I have to expend a lot of mental energy code-switching so I don’t say a Tumblr thing to a regular person, like reacting to a funny joke by saying “GET OUT.” It’s surprising how fast these habits get ingrained.
