Woman bitten by marinaded viper

A woman in China marinaded a lethal pit viper in a bottle of sorghum wine for three months in order to use it as a folk remedy. When she opened the bottle and took out the viper, it bit her - even though it was long dead - and she had to be rushed to the hospital. 

There are many documented instances of pit vipers and rattlesnakes biting long after death, even after decapitation. Crazy! Also, I feel bad for the snake in this story.
