I'm usually pretty good at deconstructing and parsing memes, but this one has got me stumped. I even checked Know Your Meme but they had no entries on the relatively new phenomenon of flower crowns.
What is a flower crown? Depends on the context. In context #1, it's a literal crown of flowers that people literally wear to look pretty. In context #2 it's something you add to a photo of your favorite male fandom crush. And I cannot figure out why.
I suspect it has something to do with the "flower girl" emoji:
(◡ ‿ ◡ ✿)
Like it takes Hannibal or Sherlock or Dr. Who and makes them... adorabler? I don't know. I am stumped.
