What would it cost us to double McDonald's salaries?

If McDonald's were to double the wages of every single employee, from the lowliest fry cook to the highest C-level executive, the end result for the consumer would be a mere 68 cents more per Big Mac. Turns out, only 17% of the costs at McDonald's are due to salaries. We could give McDonald's minimum wage employees an actual livable wage, and it would only raise the cost of a Dollar Menu item by 17 cents.
