The unpromising truth about outsourcing your life

It's been years since I read The Four Hour Work Week, but I guess I still feel burned by it, because I chortled in glee to read about Farhad Manjoo's woeful experience trying to outsource his life. Manjoo, one of the best writers on tech in the industry today, found what I have found myself: outsourcing requires constant hand-holding and supervision, and in the end, it would have been faster if you'd just done it yourself.
