Having trouble keeping up with your New Year’s resolution to work out more or get more fit? Maybe you’re thinking about it wrong. This interesting article by a coach and fitness author explains the difference between exercise (a regular routine to keep your current shape) and training (pushing yourself harder each time). If you want to see a change, you need to step up from merely exercising to actually training.
This is great advice. I’ve known a lot of people (including myself) who start exercising, don’t see any improvement after the first month, and quit.
