The dark side of community gardens

Community gardens are a great way to bring gardening to the city, get kids to spend more time outdoors, and keep people in touch with where our food really comes from. But they can also be a contentious zone, filled with homeless people, garden theft, and even fist fights over turf wars. (Who knew?)
