What is going on in Texas? Is this the most woman-hating state in the union, or what? In preparing for a vote on an anti-abortion bill, Texas state troopers standing guard at the doors to the capitol building were searching purses and pockets and confiscating tampons, sanitary pads, and other feminine hygeine products. Apparently the troopers were concerned that the products might be thrown at the Senators.
Not to state the obvious, but there is one very good hiding place for feminine hygeine products which the troopers apparently were not searching. If you need to smuggle tampons, I mean... right?
