In a practice dating back to the 1100s, any tradesman who works in the City of London has the right to drive sheep across London Bridge without paying any tolls. These days, it's done mainly as a stunt for charity.
Such was the case last Sunday, when the lord mayor and a group of freemen drove a small flock of 20 sheep across the bridge as a fundraiser for the Lord mayor's charitable trust.
