Play with shelter cats live online

The miracle of modern telepresence technology has brought us to this pinnacle of achievement: you can now play online with shelter cats at shelters across the country. IPet Companion offers the software and the hardware, connecting internet people with kitty rooms where you can click buttons on your screen and make the toy do the thing.

Sadly by the time I checked it out today, all the shelter rooms were closed and there were no kitties to play with. Then while I was looking around, my own cat threw up on the rug so I had to go attend to that instead of playing with the online kitties. Coincidence? I THINK NOT.
