Man builds incredible artificial mountain villa on apartment roof

An unknown Beijing resident has built an entire faux mountaintop villa atop the roof of an apartment building in Beijing. Unfortunately, the builder did not receive any permits, much less permission from the building's owner, so the Beijing authorities are going to tear it down.

I get the outrage at "The Man" always taking down our art. But if I lived in the apartment directly beneath this thing, I would be pretty worried about getting crushed in my sleep by a roof collapse.

Also, did no one stop this guy when he was taking boulders up the elevator, day after day?
