Lovecraft's envelope doodles
In 1936, H. P. Lovecraft was planning a work that would become the novella "At The Mountains of Madness." The author, who was so broke that he had trouble affording paper, carefully opened up a stray envelope and wrote his notes inside. This collection of scribbled notes represents some of the earliest information on the anatomy of the Elder Things, For Lovecraft fans, this is a real find!
