London's sewers have a fat problem

You know how you're not supposed to wash fat down your drain? Pour it into a can and throw it away in the trash? London residents are being chastized by their sewer authority which recently found a record-breaking wad of congealed fat in the sewers that clocks in at an estimated 15 tons. Dubbed a "fatberg" by the authorities, it will take weeks for sewer workers to clear it out using high pressure hoses.
