Jamaican Bobsled team raises Dogecoin funding

The Jamaican Bobsled Team has been absent from the Winter Olympics for 12 years. They wanted to attend Sochi. The internet wanted them to attend Sochi, too. Only problem being, the team was $80,000 short of their goal.

Enter Reddit and a few other outlets, which raised the money mainly in the form of Dogecoin, a new form of internet currency. It’s good enough to send the Jamaicans off to Sochi, though!
