Hot Pockets get an upscale makeover

Hot Pockets, long the butt of jokes (and an epic Jim Gaffigan routine) are undergoing a major makeover. Sales of the microwaved snack food have declined in recent years, and Nestle is hoping that by improving the ingredients and crust options, they will be able to give a boost to the sales numbers. The new Hot Pockets will feature two choices of crust (buttery garlic or a crispy, croissant-like crust) and fancy-pants ingredients like Angus beef and "real cheese" (what was in them before?).

I can't help thinking that the best way to improve Hot Pockets sales is for them to not be Hot Pockets.
