An Italian neuroscientist claims that we could soon have the technology to splice someone's head onto a donor body. Although the surgery would be incredibly complicated, Dr. Sergio Canavero believes that it will be feasible within a few years.
News outlets are framing this as a way for paraplegics to regain the use of their limbs. (Well, somone's limbs.) But I think the obvious use case is celebrities looking for a younger body so that they can live forever. Or am I just being cynical?
