If you have an Andriod or iOS device, your wifi password is on file
Google and Apple know your wifi password
Android and iOS devices have one thing in common: once you connect to a wifi network, they store the password on the device. And once the password is stored on the device, it is backed up to the cloud along with everything else on your device.
Except what that means in practice is that your wifi password is being stored on the Google and/or Apple servers, where it could be exposed either illegally or through a warrant.
Just one more thing to be mildly freaked out about, sorry!
