Daylight Saving Time ended last night, or did it start? It's not like anyone knows. Heck, we can only barely remember to "spring forward and fall back," and have to stop to do the complicated math about what each change will actually mean to our schedules. Right now one of the trending searches on Google is "what time is it," and if your nation's population has to Google the time, you are in trouble.
Worse, DST is stupid and ineffective and actually dangerous. Car accidents and heart attacks both spike in the days immediately following the time change. And as The Atlantic reports, there is no actual use to it at all. (Claims that it saves electricity or helps farmers? Both bogus.)
It's time to end the insanity!
