Dirty Dancing: A subversive classic

Lesley at XOJane has written up a passionate and spirited defense of Dirty Dancing as a subversive movie. I laughed when I saw the headline, but I wasn't laughing by the time I finished the article, because she is 100% right. (Also, I didn't realize it was an Ayn Rand book; I too thought it was some kind of unsolicited porn.)
